I just got back from taking my plumbers license exam for the second time. I really don't know how I did especially considering that last time I felt so confident that I passed and I did not. So I guess I do not want to say how I think I did for fear of jinxing myself. All I can say is that I knew about 70%-80% of the questions and the rest I just happen to notice from the guys answer sheet around me and as chance would have it they all seemed to match up the same so that seems to be a good sign. Oh well for now I will let you know the results when I get them in one four weeks time. To tell you the truth most of the questions on the test are a joke. No plumber should have to know the answers to them. Some of the code questions I can see but the mathematical part of the test is something I never use on the field. If you know all the information at www.chicagoplumbingcode.com you should probably be per sewing a higher paying career like an architect.
Anyways I'm sure I will be on the piss after all this studying I’ve been doing. I think a lot of the gang including Adam are up for going out so it should make for a good night. Tomorrow I will be seeing Beata for the first time in two weeks. We have both been very busy with our lives lately so tomorrow will be a good time to get caught up. I think we are going to the Kerry Piper restaurant for some wining and dining and maybe after that something that rhymes with that.
I bought a digital recorder the other day that also has a built in camera option. I used it for the lectures I went to over the week and it worked great. It is very high-tech and very easy to use, I think it was a great investment. I hope to use it a lot in the future. That’s all for now.

Went out with Whitty last night to 'Bim Bam'. I had about four glasses of wine and Whitty had about 4/5 large pints of 'Radegast'. I got home at a decent time and once again got up at a reasonable time this morning. I love getting up early on the weekend and just doing simple things like cleaning up my place or going shopping, it's so good to take care of things like this and not just sleep the morning through with a hang-over. This should be an incentive for me to start taking care of business for now on and get ahead and not just be slacking all the time.
Anyways my latest news is that I'm putting my Exterra up for sale. I have come to the realization that I do not need it like I thought I did. I especially do not want the payments. If I can get rid of it I would be freeing up a huge hole as far as money is concerned. I am trying a lot more to try to live much more lean. I am going on my bike a lot more to get around now that the weather is getting better and I just don't feel the need for that big of a vehicle anymore. Besides all that if I plan on maybe going to Europe to live for a while I should start saving up some money as much as I can to bring over. This week I am re-closing on my condo through a refinance attempt. My mortgage payment is going down a lot because of this, and I think I already have a new roommate picked out who is going to help with the rent. So the way I look at it is that this summer I can really save some good money if I start to cut down on some not so necessary things in my life.
Anyways enough of that serious talk for now here are some new pix from my big bike ride down by the lake today.
A shot of the mag mile.

Went to the 'Irish Fest' last night. Don't know why, it was pretty boring to tell you the truth. Ended up going to a pub on the south side called 'Jack Desmonds' were a huge fight broke out. Of course I stayed out of it thank God and went home early. I'm home now and about to go to the lake for a bike trip. I want to make something of this weekend and not just be hung-over the whole time. I will at least show you a couple of seens from last night.
A stop at the fuel reserve.
Thanks buddy!
A double fister always stands out.
Ahh the joys of youth.

Well I didn't do much today just worked and studied. I have a ton of things to do tomorrow. I need to buy a plumbing book and barnes and noble as a reference for this test. I also have to fix a slow leaky tire on my van along with a lot of shopping. I will do some more studying and then I will head to Gaelic Park for 'sponge fest' it should be good.
Oh, you will never guess whom I ran into today at the convenient store!
I didn't even ask for his autograph, I thought his picture would be enough.

Well my second review course class went well tonight. I will have one more on the 29th and then I will take the test on the 31st. Lets hope I pass this time so I don't have to do all this over again. I feel more confident taking it this time around, I think I was just overwhelmed with all the material I had to learn the first time around. After looking over the contents of the test the last couple of weeks it doesn't seem so intimidating anymore. I guess what I am saying is that I feel a lot more relaxed this time. Besides that work is great especially with the weather being so good and the sun shining. I should be in Evanston for another little while before I get transferred to another job. I am looking forward to this weekend especially with Monday off. Myself and Adam will be attending the Irish fest at 'Gaelic Park' this Saturday so that should be fun, I always look forward to this time of year. Tomorrow I will try to have a quit night with the chick at her place. I hope to keep it simple like wine and a movie. Anyways enough of that for now I want to post some new pix from that party a couple of weeks ago.
Back on the seen.
Adam, always smiling.
Wine connoisseur?
Yeah, you know whose king.
Big D's big return.
Dumb and Dumber!

Well another weekend closes in again and antother week aproches. Friday I saw 'West of Rome's' gig in a bar in Evenston. The show was pretty good but jay Bennet once again did not show up. Oh well maybe next time. Yesterday I did that plumbing job at my parents house, it ended up taking me about 6 hours. After that I went to filoneks for a few jars after work it ended up turning into an all nite bender. My Irish friend Murtah came in to the bar and thats all she wrote. We eventually went to this Polish/Czech bar on belmont and I got into a few pretty intense games of foozball with some pro players. I held my own for the most part, I actually won a game too.

Well the weekend is here again and the weather looks shitty. I hope it doesn't rain throughout this bbq party in wheaton, that would damper things(no pun intended). Oh well lets hope for the best and enjoy what we have. Besides that B' and I saw 'Chicago' last night, what a flic, it was everything I was hoping for and better. It was sort of a musical more than it was a regular movie. It was fun, fast, and funny, all with a pretty good story line to top it off. Richard Gere played a fabulous roll in a charismatic Irish lawyer that had never lost a case until he was presented with 'Roxies'. Did he win or not, see for yourself. All I can say is that it is well worth the price of admision. must go now, have to get ready for this big get together is wheaton hope to capture a few good moments with the camera. Lata.

I want to use my ability to post pictures more now that I am paying for it so here's another form when I was in New York last October.
Great gonzo's I'm in heaven!

So I went out with Adam last night to 'Cullens' and had a great time. We eat dinner (I had my first rueben) it was great, and then we stayed and drank for a while. Quite a while to be exact. The music was fun and the drinks were wet. Anyways it was fun so next we are looking forward to this big bash in Wheaton(NICE). Should be another big bender especially with brother Daniele and Tula in town.
Here is one of my favorite photos from Prague.
As you can tell I'm very social.

Well I tried to blog yesterday but I could not get through so I guess todays entry will have to do. I was in the west suberbs last night for some dining and partying. I can say the dining was great but the partying was shit. Beata and I have been going to some very nice resteraunts lately, last night we went to Magnums steak house in Oak Brook. The food was very good and the piano music in the background was even better. We drank wine and indulged in her favorite 'tirmisu'. The bill was high but hey what a gonna do. We were supposed to go to 'Accent Cafe' in Des Plains afterwords but decided it ws to late and to far to go so we stayed in Oak Brook and went to some cheesy western suberbian night club called 'Boogie Nights'. It was a bunch of really pretensious suberb rats dancing to really bad music like 'Bon Jovi' and "Bryan Adams'. We left there and went to a place called the 'Living Room' down the street were it was a little better there and the music was much better. The crowd though was much older, I would say that the average age was about 35-38 years old. I will have to say though I saw some absolutely beautiful older women and of course with there overweight bald lawyer boyfriends. What else would you expect from Oak brook natives. At the end of the night we both agreed that Oak Brook is a great place to dine but whenever we want to go out to a bar or a club we will go to the city for now on.
Anyways, aside from all that I am going out with Adam tonight into the city were we will probably go for dinner and a few drinks. I was hoping to go to the lake today but this overcast weather is dampening my ambition to do that so I will go to balleys instead to sweat of this little hangover. I am looking forward to next week though for my brothers party. I will be there hopfullly with a few friends to enjoy all the celebration and hopefully it will turn into an all night bender in the city(NICE).

Well the weekend is here again on such short notice. I only worked Monday, Tuesday, and Friday due to all this rain we got this week. Luckily I have another side job to do tommorrow that will help me make up the money I did not earn this week. Aside from that I am looking forward to this weekend none the less. I have a multitude of things to. One is meet up with my old friend Adam who I have not gone out with in some years, I have been in contact with him lately and he tells me he is interested in maybe moving up to the north-side. I think a good idea is for us to go out and hit some pubs n'stuff and see if he likes where I live. Who knows maybe he will be my next roomate. Of course I will have to find time to go out with the new chick. I am waiting to hear back from her today to see what her plans are for this weekend. I also was invited to a party by Hana this Saturday, I guess it is a birthday for some Czech girl she knows. She wants me to go so she can intrduce me to all of her friends and roomates, should be fun. I will be the only good English speaking person in the room so it should be interesting. Beleive it or not I thrive on situations like that, I consider myself a great talker and of course anybody who really knows me knows that I am totally a people person so I really feel confident that I can make the whole situation fun and possibly even make some new friends. Anyways thats all for now I must shower and get my gear on for the weekend.
