So I finally bought that digital camera I've been talking about getting for so long. I bought it last night on ebay. I was up until 2:00 in the morning bidding on the damn thing. There was some confusion about paying for the camera itself, the women I bought it from changed her email address so when I paid for it with paypal it went to address not in service anymore. She had not changed her info before she put the camera up for auction so to make a long story short I just sent her a personal check instead. Anyways I am looking forward to getting it and starting to expand my blog amongst other things. Speaking of which I think I'm going to change the name of my blog, I wont say what I'm going to change it to yet but I just don't think that Mysticalife really relates to my blog at all. The name was just a quick name I thought of when I was creating my blog over the phone in the first place. I have an idea in mind as to what I want to call it instead, maybe something more to do with 'Chicago' would make more sense. Anyways I went to the gym again today for the second time this week so I feel good about that, I got those pictures back from Wallgreens last night and saw a couple of pictures of myself that kind of lit a fire underneath my ass about getting back into shape. But hey this is good for me I need a little coaxing every now and again ya know. I want to drop about 10-12 pounds by the end of March, I think this is a reasonable goal for me. I want to look good and feel more confident for this summers' social endeavours.

That side job I did yesterday went well thank God, I made good money on it. I have another job coming up this Saturday that should be a good waste of time for me. At this pace I will have those credit card bills paid off by May(nice)! Tommorow I will probably go see 'Gangs of New York'. I hear it's supposed to be a pretty good film, I hope this is true considering I will have to pay for myself and my date. I know I shouldn't complain it could be worse, I could be going in the movie by myself like 'Pee Wee Herman'.

So it looks like I picked up another side job. I got a reference from my Mother about a lady in Westmont who needs some plumbing done in her house, nothing major just some repair work but hey at least it's a new costomer for me. I just got back from Balleys', I had a great workout. I then went and pick up some pictures I dropped off at Wallgreens last night. Of course they were not ready, the chick last night told me they would be. I am looking forward to seeing them because it was film I have had in laying around for quite some time now. It's allways fun to look at pictures that you forgot you even took. I just orderd two concert tickets for the 'Saw Doctors' show at the Vic on Sat. March 8. It should be an awsome show, they allways play a great gig in Chicago I've noticed. I think it's because there are so many Patty's here. If everything goes well I should end up bringing a babe to this concert. I've got about two weeks to make something good happen with some of these new chick's I have met. The presures on! Will he come through!

So I'm not at work today, I was not feeling to good this morning so I called in sick. I have been battling a cough and cold the last couple of days and with the weather out tooday I thought it would be a good idea to stay in for the day. Anyways I will make up the money I missed this Saturday when I go back to that job that I just did this past weekend. The owner there wants me to do some more for him so that should mean a coulple of hundred again. Anyways I went ot the Brauhouse Saturday to see if I could find that girl I met but she was not there I geusse there was some other event going on that night that her mom usually goes to. Oh well I will try going there again this Saturday, that night though myself and Massart went up to Boomers and I ended up getting a number from the pretty hot server who works there. So of course I will try to get her out sometime this week. The weather in Chicago this week is going to suck so I am limited on what I can do, not to mention I think my cable is out. I am gong to try to go to Borders book store and do some reading up on some travel guide books and stuff like that. I will go now and try to make something of this bitterly cold day.

Yo! Whats goin' on! I just got in. I was at 'Cheifs' for a couple after work and also had some fish and chips for dinner, it was so good. That job I did today took way longer that I had expected it would. I got there at about 9:00 a.m. and left at 6:00 p.m. What a drag! I was running around like a headless chicken all day to try and finish the job, but hey I made great money. I only wish I had jobs like this lined up all the time, I would be traveling a lot more often. So I saw Carolyn at Cheif's tonight, we taked a little and made plans to see 'Gangs of New york' on Thursday. That should be good. Anyways how about that night-club tragedy in Rhode Island, how scary was that. I actually thought it was a pretty sobering sight to see considering I go to night-clubs like this all the time. The video footage I saw was so creepy. This will make me think before I go into some place that seems pretty crowded. I think something like this will have the same affect on American society like 'Magic Johnsons' anouncement to the public of his virus. I hate to say it but something like this almost needs to happen for major changes to take place. Well enough of that for now it's Saturday and I'm going out to party so 'see ya'

So it's Friday again, wow how fast that week went. I just got back from Home Depot and picked up some material for that job tommorow, I also picked up some small tools that I needed. Before that I took advantage of this great weather and washed my van. It was good to get out and do something consructive besides work for a change. I am debating on what to do tonight, should I go out or stay in. I am not tired enough to go to sleep yet so I think I will watch a movie and have a couple a beers and then see how I feel. I'm hoping to have a good night tommorow so maybe I will just wait until then. 'How long will it take to get used to me" says 'James". 'Dont wait that long'.

Well the weekend is almost here again thank God. I am back at that Evenston job again and prabably will be for a while. This is o.k. with me for Matt my foreman is pretty cool to work for plus it's closer to my place anyway. I am not getting nearly as much as I thougth I was getting back for my tax return but I still got a good deal because Simenas did a great job on my tax's. I will really have to save my money a if I want to pay off my credit card bills this summer and still go to Europe maybe. I have another side job to do this Saturday so that will be good to get some extera money also it's next to Manny's so maybe I will go there and indulge in some fine deli cuisine. This weekend I am going to the Chicago Brauhouse to meet that tall blone babe from Latvia as planned. I am really hoping she is available for some kind of relaionship for she would be a great catch! I will try not to get my hopes up to much though because I know that will not help my chances. Other than that today it's about 50 degrees in Chicago so I will try to go out and enjoy the weather with maybe a bike ride.

So I made it to work on time this morning thank God. It was a pretty shitty day all in all. My shin is still hurting and my hands were cold all day from handling cold pipe. Well at least the weather will be getting better this week. I really need to get my act together financially. I have to much credit card debt. I will be doing my taxes tommorow and I hope to be getting a good return considering I bought a place this year. I will dedicate all my return money to paying off my credit card bills. I have to be very carefull on how I spend my money for now on if I want to get ahead. I did a quick run down of how much I spend and how much I earn and I come out way ahead so this tells me I am blowing way to much money on drink and other stupid purchases. Not to mention I have put on some weight lately so I also have to change my eating habits. I hope to have all these things all sorted out for this summer. Once I have these things taken care of I can concentrate on another trip to Europe this summer. Ireland or there is even some talk of Italy Maybe. I'll let you know what the plan is when I here more.

Whats Up! My God it's been so long since I blogged. Iv'e been busy partying it up with brother and freinds this whole weekend. Danny is in town and so was Dave from Ireland. We had a pretty good wekend all in all. We saw the auto show and did a lot of eating and drinking. I will write about this more tommorow for I have some things to do tonight. I hear this week the weather is supposed to be in the 30's and 40's so that should be good. Got ta go.

T.G.I.F. just got back from Balleys' after doing about a two hour or so workout. It felt great. I really needed to do that today for I had not gone there in a while. I'm home right now getting a bite to eat before I go out tonight. I will probably go out for a few to start the weekend off on a good note. I will be going into boomers after a while to see if that Polish babe is biten'. I must watch the time when I go out tonight for I have to be at that side job tommorow at about 8:00. My new buddy Larry is meeting me at my place in the morning. He is going to help me out on this job so I can just get the damn thing done. It's good to have a guy on the job just incase anything bad should happen. I hope everything goes well and I get paid and just be done with the job in one day. No sign of those 'James' cd's yet but at least there's allways tommorow.

Well one more day till the weekend anyway. It looks like I’ll be at this new jobsite for a while after all. My foreman told me today that he would be keeping myself and Larry on this jobsite until he was done with us so being that there’s a lot of work on at this particular jobsite that could be a while which is cool with me. The foreman seems to be very lax on us. For instance he shows us what needs to be done at the beginning of the day and leaves us to do it for the rest of the day. He may only check on us once or twice a day if even that. That’s just perfect if you ask me. I have been working with Larry for a couple of weeks now and having a lot of fun with him. He is this 20-year-old Italian-American whippersnapper from the far west side of the city, he’s a pretty nice guy and I enjoy working with him. We usually try to keep busy at work while we laugh a lot and talk about life, plumbing, money, women etc…all day. My new foreman is this hot shot kind of guy who where’s shades all day and he talks a little loud but he’s actually not a bad guy. Hey he stays off our ass so I cant complain. Today he told me he is in a hockey league that he plays in on Wed. and Sun. nights. He told me I should come out and try it out. I guess it’s a no check league so my chances of getting hurt aren’t too bad. It cost ten dollars a game to play and there are some ice times for rat hockey available as well. This sounded like something I might want to per sew. I used to play hockey years ago and in the last year I have tried to go skating in public rinks to try to get the hang of it again so this could be a perfect opportunity to get back into hockey again. He also said that since there is no checking that there are a couple of girls involved. This gave me an idea about asking Vera if she wanted to play if she wanted to. She told me that she would love to join a league but she could not find a girls league to play in. I will ask her tomorrow night if she is interested. Maybe I will finally get my chance to see her naked in the locker in the locker room(nice).

Other than that I will be busy this weekend doing a side-job on Sat. I am going into Boomers on Fri. night to see if that hot Polish babe liked my ‘James’ cd. Hopefully she did and we can maybe talk some more about other things. Speaking of which I ordered two new ‘James’ albums off the internet yesterday. ‘Seven’ and ‘Laid’ at a total of two albums I’ve been trying to find for $32.00. That’s with shipping and handling. I don’t think that that’s a bad deal considering that James music is very hared to find, I hope they get here soon. So I'm at a new job location for a couple of days now. Me and another guy got sent here for a couple days until the other job is ready. This new job-site is not bad, it too has teporary heating and the guys seem to be o.k. Other than that I have a busy day tomorrow taking care of a bunch of small erends. Oh yeah I received an e-mail from Cropera today confirming his trip to Chicago. He is coming on Friday Feb. 14 and I beleive my bro Daniel is coming over from NY as well. It looks like it's shaping up to be a great weekend if nothing else. I must think of some plans so we can make the most of our time while thier here. I'm still waiting on my exam results, and preparing my self for a side job this weekend, other than that things are fine.

Yo it’s me again. I wanted to write some thoughts down about this weekend. I had a pretty good weekend all around. Friday I met up with Massart and some friends at this one German bar on Irving park road. Once I got there I realized it was that bar that I blacked out at about a month ago. As soon as I walked in the joint something looked terribly familiar about the place. It was so funny to be at a place where you have very vague memories of being very fucking wasted. Anyways once I sat down I met some new people that were friends of Massarts’ and we started to chat about our favorite movies and so on and so forth. After that everybody went home and of course I stayed out and went hunting for some tail. I found myself in ‘Boomers’ at about 1:00 for some late night mingling. Boomers is a new night-club that we all discovered recently. I personally think it’s a pretty cool place, it has an eat in type restaurant that you can get some late night grub in at one end of the place and on the other side is the bar and dance floor. It’s a perfect place for that time of night. The crowd is usually mixed race witch I like, and the atmosphere is usually very energetic. The music is pretty neutral, they play some new techno music and also some old nightclub favorites. The thing I like about it most is that the crowd is usually pretty tame as far as fights go and the men to women ratio is about one women to two guys so your chances aren’t that bad. So far I have met girls from Poland, Yugoslavia, Syria, Romania, and Russia, and of course some Mexican ‘hoochies’. Once I got there Friday night this gorgeous bartender from Poland was working the bar and she told me she remembered me from another time I was there. She kept coming over to me and staring conversation with me. I was kind of flattered about this, so I made sure that when I left I wanted to leave on a good note. I decided to give her a copy of a ‘James’ cd I had, I thought she would like it. If nothing else it will give us something else to talk about for the next time I see her.

Last night we all met up a the ‘Chicago Brauhouse’ for some food and drink. I was supposed to meet up with Gabriela and some friends. As the night went on I tried on a couple of occasions to get a conversation going with her but she did not seem to want to bite. That was fine with me, for I had seen a girl I met from I time I was their before. I eventually got talking to her and actually made plans with her to meet up in a couple of weeks so that was pretty cool. Other than that Sunday I didn’t do much, just did some shopping and met up with an old plumbing friend of mine and talked about a side job that I have coming up. He is such a nice guy. I met him at school some time ago, and we have been buddies ever since. I helped him out on a couple occasions before and since then he lets me use some tools if I need them for a side job. Proving once again that it always pays to be nice. Anyways it’s getting late now so I will have to finish this blog until tomorrow.
