A pretty boring Saturday if you ask me. I didn't do a whole lot but I did take care of some things I have been meaning to do. First I went to the bank and changed in all my loose change that I have been saving up and to my surprise I had over $130 in there, I could not believe that. I was expecting about 40 th 60 dollars at the most so obviously that made me happy. I will save that for my Naprapathic Chiropractor's appointment on Wednsday. I guess she does not accept insurance policy's she only takes money up front so I will be responsible for getting refunded by my insurance company. After that I went to Tom's house to wash my van, I ended up spening about two hours there organizing my tools and material. I also had a tire changed today at the tire shop. So I guess it was a pretty productive day none the less. Later on tonight I will be going to Massart's big party. I was at his house earlier today as well and his 17 year cousin and his buddy were there doing some last minut grunt work to get ready for tonights party. Tom and Marc have a gig in Millwaukee tonight so they will not be making it, so we'll see what the turn out is like.

I guess tommorrow Tom, Susan and I will be going to Gingers Ale house on Ashland Ave. to watch this Irish rugby match. It's supposed to be a huge game and I'm sure the place will be packed. Susan says she would not miss it for anything so I guess I will have to go to see what all the fus is about. Anyways I got some good news this Thursday night when I went into Filonek's for a drink. I was suprised not to see Vera working instead Lucy (another Czech broad) was at the controls. We talked for a while and she said that Hana(an ex friend of Vera's) had been asking for me. I have to admit I was tickled pink. I had taken Hana on a date last summer and we hit it off pretty well, but unfortunatly she just started a new night time job so she was not really available for much dating but I guess she got this new job at a Czech novalty store called 'Czech Tempo' on Irving Park and Austin were she now has much more flexable hours now. Of course on Friday I went in there to see her for the first time in alomost six months and damn she looked nice. She said she had missed me and she wanted to go out with me again some time, I was over the moon. She also gave me both of her numbers with word to call her early next week so that sounds pretty damn good to me. I will have to be very smooth about this one if I want to make things work. Anyways thats my life in a nut shell right now I will go now to eat and drink with friends on this early spring weekend.

Been working like a whore lately, I am burnt out these days but I have to keep going. I understand that luck comes to those who are willing to attain it. I am trying to get ahead of my bills and put some money together to maybe buy a house but doing it all by myself will be a very hard task. I wish I had a good wife to do all the little things for me. It's hard enough getting up at 4:30 in the morning and working till maybe 10 or 11 o'clock at night and then have to come home and do shopping and laundry. Oh well it's the life I have chosen for now so I geuss I will just have to tough it out until things get easier. Van is running good and I am starting to acumulate some tools for all these side jobs so thats cool. I'm off now to Massarts' house to do some nightmare repair work on his remodel attempt. Jimmys job is going and I will be very busy over there in the coming weeks. Also I contacted a potential new costomer that could leed to a lot of work, she will be contacting me in the near future. Should be a very busy and prosperous summer for me not to mention all the women chasing I will have to do throughout all this, matter of fact got a 'buty call' today from Heather and she wants to hook up this Sunday(NICE). I have to get a little hear and there to keep me going ya know. She could be a possible flong (long fling) in the making. Anyways I will go now, "I ow, I ow, so off to work I go".

Just another manic Monday I guess. At least the weather is awsome. My back was much better today so I decided to go into work like a good boy and make something of today. Tommorow I will finishing the first phase of Jimmy's room addition, thankfully I will be bringing help this time. I met a new young guy at work thats kind of desperate for money to pay off some depts so I will bring him along to help me out . Plus he's cheap labor. Had a nice time at my Mom's house yesterday with family. It was good to see them on just a normal day not just some holiday or wedding or something. I hope this war gets resolved quickly. I sometimes have a hard time watching it and understanding it. Makes you wonder about countries leaders and how they can really fuck a lot of things up.

Long time no blog! I just got back from (brother) Jimmy's new room addition for the first time. Looks really great. I will have a lot of work to do there in the coming days. Saturday will be my first day of work there, I have to run some gas pipe to to his furnace and fireplace, should take me most of the day. After a couple of weeks I will have a lot more work to do there. I am working right next to Cabrinni Green these days on some new housing developments, I only hope things dont get interesting over there. Other than that I will be chasing some new Polish hotty tonight with my new friend Larry.

Just got back from getting my Ex-terra washed. My how it needed it. I had not washed it in at least two months. Today the weather is so beatiful, it is about 60 degrees out and the sun is shining. Tonight (sisters) Clare and Catherine are coming up to celebrate Catherine's birthday. It should be a good time. We are going to have a few drinks at my place and the go hit the town. I will have to think of a good place for us to eat dinner for I know all the Irish places will be packed to the gills. Once we eat I'm sure we will go to some pubs for some good old Irish drinking. Tom X and the Captin will be going to 'Gunter Murphy's' to watch a band the know play so maybe we will all try to meet up there. My money situation is not very hot right now so I will have to watch my spending. Other than that thing are ok. I am really looking forward to this spring and summer. I should probably go for a bike ride today but for some reason I feel very tired so maybe I will rest up for tonight.

A record low today in Chicago a measly 5 degrees, this is the lowest since 1892. Needless to say we didn't stay at work today. We were given the option to stay or to leave, I was going to stay but my toes just kept freezing on me so I left and only got paid for a half a day. Our computer is working again, Steve had to use his own presonal computer in order to get things going again so I am now back in the know as far as whats going on in the world. My cable is still not fixed I'm waiting on a guy to call me on that still. The concert was great, Tom and I thought it was a very good time. I met two hot chicks from Orland Park and got one of their numbers. I of course forgot to bring my new camera so no new pix yet. I went to 'Mothers' after the concert and met those friends I talked about and had a good time. There was a bachelorette party going on and I flirted with a couple of babes, one girl took my number, I will die if she calls me She was pretty hot. Anyways I'm off to do some small side work right now so I will write again soon.

So I'm at some intenet cafe by my place, it's my first time in here. For some reason our computer at home is not working. My roomate said he will fix it when he gets a chance,(whenever that is) its been about three days now and still no sign. Anyways this cafe is on Lawrence Ave. just east of my place, I thought it would be cool inside but really it's very plain inside. It's just a bunch of cubicals in rows and all the serve is like pop, candy, and chips. Needless to say this will not be my new hangout for now on. Anyways I was at the ciropracter today for my back, I strained it at work the other day. I was there for about a half an hour and I will be going back again on Tuesday. Tonight is that Saw Doctors concert, so that should be fun, myself and Tom X will be going together since no chicks will go with me. I got al call from an old south-side Irish friend the other day an she said that her and some old aquantinces will also be going to this concert. I was happy to here this as we also made plans to go partying downtown afterwords. I can use a good nite out after all the riggors of this week. My van stalled on me at some Dunkin Donuts parking lot Thursday, luckily there was a mechanic's shop very near by, he said it was the feul pump and it needed to be replaced. That made me sick not to mention he charged me $280. I will be going to pick it up today some time.

So this is my second full day off work so far. I will definitely go back tommorow. I have had a pretty bad cold for about a week now, I was at the doctor's office today and I got a perscription to help me out, since then I have been perfect. While I was there I had the doctor write me a note excusing me from work because my foreman is a kind of no excuse kind of guy. Last time I took off a day he said in a stern kind of voice "what's your excuse this time" and I told him I was feeling very shitty, he then rolled his eyes as if to say I dont' want to here it. Now you can see why I got the doctors note this time. To tell you the truth I get sick of being in the trades sometimes, I mean in most professions you get your holidays off and sick days, I don't get shit, and if you have to take a day off (God forbid) you get all this grief for doing it. Oh well I guess thats the price I will have to pay for not staying in school. Anyways besides all that there is a big snow storm in Chicago tonight, we are supposed to be getting about 5-6 inches of accumulation. This should make taffic tommorow tretcherous. Today I went to Balleys' for a while then I bought a drill that I need to finish this side job tommorow at Home Depot. After that I did some shopping at this Polish supermarket on Millwaukee Ave. The stuff I bought was pretty cheap and there were some good looking Polish chicks giving me the eye, I think I will shop at this place for my groceries for now on and do some flirting.

I forgot to mention that with that percription today I got persribed some 'Zovirex' treatment just to see how much it would have to pay for it under my insurance plan. I got two 15gm tubes of it for a combine total of $2.50 how about that. My doctor gave me five refills of it for future use so that means I can get a total of ten 15gm tubes for $12.50 after it's all said and done(for now on I will be the king street pharmacist). What a deal, forget about the Czech Republic now I've got Wallgreens baby. Anyways I called my sister Mary today because she mentioned that she wanted to set me up with some Polish girl that she knew. Now I typically don't like being set up and especially by family members but the way she described this girl it seems I can't go wrong. She said she was cute and that she weighed only 110 pounds. "I'm talk'en pounds baby pounds". She has a great job and she like to travel. Mary also mentioned that she like guys with a good sense of humor, knowing that I should do well. The main reason I called Mary though was to see if this girl was available for this weekend, remeber I've got that concert and the girl I was going to ask to go has to work on Saturday so I'm kind of stuck unless I want to take Tom Cox who said he would go if I was stranded. So needless to say I hope Mary can get a hold of this girl before it's to late. I geuss Mary lost her number and she is trying to find it. Oh well it was meant to be it will happen I will try not to worry about to much.

Just got back from baby Sarah's Christining, I had a very nice day with family. The service was short, (everybody had thier digital cameras out except me) and shortly after we saw Jerry's new house. The new house is beautiful and very stylish and spacious. We then went to 'Bohemian Crystal' for brunch and of course it was delicious. We had the family style dinner and we all pigged out. It was the first time I had eaten such good food since I had been in the Czech Republic. Along with all that good food I drank two big bottles of 'Czechvar' beer to wash everything down, by the time I left there I was so stuffed. I also met a couple of Czech women who worked there and we talked a little about Prague, it was fun. last nite I went up to the Chicago 'Brauhouse' to see if that Latvian girl was up there and as luck would have it she was. Her name is Ingrid and she looked pretty nice. I sat with her group and we drank and danced and laughed for a while, it was a pretty fun nite. I asked for her number but she did not want to give if to me, she seemed reluctant to do that. I think she said she recently had a bad experience with this or something. Anyways she said she would like to meet me there again for 'Bavarian Night' on Friday the 14th so I guess I will try again. If I dont get more from her this time I will try no more. Well at least I have that 'Saw Doctors' concert coming up this Saturday so that should be fun. I talked to Lynn and Tom today about maybe coming up to see it with me and they might want to but it seemed like it was to expensive for them to do so I wont bother them to much about it. I should have my digital camera by then so hopefully I will have a couple of cool pictures to download onto this boring verbal blog.
